Colleen's Corner: Captivating 4bed/2.5 bath in Charming Neighborhood

Overall, this is a nice place to stay however it is not the most accurate listing, when we arrived there was light fixtures not properly put in to the ceiling, a new dishwasher must’ve been installed and screws were not put in so that the dishwasher would move and slant every time you tried to put dishes in or take dishes out. The garage doors do come up and down but only by manually lifting them, there was cracked tile in front of the fridge. A gate to the backyard that had no latch to close it so it just stays open. I can see they are trying to do work to the place but believe they need to finish the work before renting it out because it is advertised to be squared away, and you are paying for place that is advertised as fully completed. The hosts were good and answered any question I had in a reasonable time frame.

The furniture was nice and comfortable, but the house was falling apart. The floors were uneven downstairs. The kitchen drawers felt like they were going to fall apart every time I opened them underneath the kitchen sink smelled rotten the laundry room reeked of dog urine the downstairs air conditioner did not work. We could not get it below 78. We were also hot that we had to go out and buy fans, the upstairs shower curtain had pink mold, growing on the inside, shower, curtain liner, and yellow stains on the outside of the shower curtain.

House was very cozy and inviting. I loved how cozy the couch was and the master bedroom bed was amazing. I will reserve this house anytime I’m in the area. The host is great at getting back to you and helping if you have any questions.

The home was clean as noted by several previous visitors on this listing. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, we had a couple of unexpected visitors ring the doorbell during our short one day stay which annoyed all of us.
