Dora's Dutch Cottage

Very nice place to stay! The pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Decorations are very cute.

Pool was great and beds were comfortable

The inside of the house was "clean" but definitely could use a deep clean. The front door did not lock so that was a little uncomfortable and nerve racking. The dryer did not work like it was suppose to, it did not have any heat so had to make a clothes line outside which was way faster than trying to use the dryer. As for the outside of the house, we were incredibly shocked when we pulled up and were pretty confident we were at the wrong house. It looked nothing like the pictures. I would say that it looked pretty trashy and neglected. Yard hadn't been mowed probably in weeks. And everything was run down. When I approached about it they said it was due to remodeling. This was WAY more than remodeling and even though stated they were working on it, it was left un cared for! If the kids were not having so much fun in the pool right as we showed we would have left.

The overall condition of the property was one of neglect. The dyer did not work. The refrigerator was dirty. The enjoyment of the uniqueness of the period furnishing was negatively affected by the dismal upkeep of the property.
