Very nice! Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway.

I'll start with the positives. The location is great, the scenery is beautiful, and the porches are amazing. The hot tub was a nice bonus, and the home was well-stocked with cooking supplies, towels, and linens. The host was always quick to respond, although the responses weren't always helpful in resolving issues.If you're looking for a rustic getaway, this property may be a good fit. However, I would not recommend it for families with young children or elderly guests. The detached bedroom had a strong mildew odor and was unusable during our stay. The upstairs loft steps present a significant fall risk for small children, and the refrigerator is located in the bathroom, which was unexpected.Privacy is limited, and the home remained above 80 during the day, making it uncomfortable. The listing photos show the garage doors open, but guests are instructed to keep them closed. We also experienced a plumbing issue where the sink repeatedly backed up whenever the washing machine was running.Overall, I believe this property is best suited for two adults, or possibly a family with older children seeking a rustic experience. The listing should more accurately reflect the property's layout and limitations so guests know what to expect. Because the detached bedroom was unusable and the home remained over 80 daily, our overall experience was significantly diminished and we left our trip early.

The property was clean and comfortable, but we were missing some basic kitchen amenities that would have made our stay more pleasant. We were also a bit taken aback that one of the bedrooms was on the exterior and down a difficult flight of stairs. We were able to make it work, but I would definitely warn that only one bed out of the 4 can be accessed by someone who is challenged by stairs.Overall, the convenient location near boat ramps, the outside living spaces, the beautiful living room with massive window walls, and the views from the hot tub more than made up for these minor inconveniences.

We loved the location and the views. The fire pit was nice to enjoy in the evenings. The hot tub was nice/clean. Furniture is new and excellent condition-couch, coffee table, kitchen table and plenty of outdoor seating. The heating and cooling system was very easy to use considering the fluctuation of the temperatures while we were there. could use some more silverware and we had to walk to the neighbors house to borrow a can opener. I’ve let the homeowner know. I’m sure that will get remedied. we love our stay and look to come back soon.
